Operator and scope
This website is operated by Ottercrimsonvally Sports Systems Ltd, 26 Willow Terrace, Leeds LS6 3HJ, United Kingdom, company no. 15092764. Questions may be sent to [email protected].
Ottercrimsonvally.sbs provides independent educational information about computer vision, sensors and officiating procedures. It is not affiliated with governing bodies, competitions or technology suppliers. References to their names, rules or products identify the subject and do not imply endorsement.
Not an official decision service
Content is not professional officiating instruction, equipment certification, legal advice or a match ruling. Rules, approved technologies and competition protocols can change. Consult the current authoritative documents and the relevant organiser before acting in an official capacity.
We do not adjudicate appeals, verify private match evidence or guarantee that a public replay reproduces the information available to officials. General explanations should not be used to assert certainty about an incident we have not independently examined.
Accuracy and availability
We aim to explain matters clearly and welcome source-backed corrections. However, content may contain errors or become outdated, and the website may be interrupted or unavailable. No promise is made that every external link remains accessible or that the website will meet a particular operational purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability for losses caused by reliance on general educational content or by interruption of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious material or use the contact channel for threats, harassment or unlawful content. Do not submit confidential records, personal information about others or copyrighted material unless you have an appropriate right to share it.
Public source links and concise descriptions are preferable to uploading restricted footage. We do not provide an upload facility.
Content and intellectual property
Original website copy and design are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may link to pages and quote limited extracts with clear attribution where permitted by law. Substantial republication or commercial reuse requires permission unless a legal exception applies.
Third-party names, marks, documents and photographs remain subject to their respective rights. A link to a source does not grant a licence to reuse that source’s material.
Contact drafting tool
The Contact tool prepares plain text locally. Copying or downloading does not send an email or create a delivery record. You are responsible for reviewing the text, choosing a recipient and sending it through your own application. Your device controls clipboard and download behaviour.
Sending correspondence does not guarantee a response, publication, acceptance of a correction or a confidential advisory relationship.
External websites and privacy
External links are supplied for context and primary reading. Their operators control their content and privacy practices. Our own information practices are described in Privacy, and browser storage is explained in Cookies.
Applicable law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections available where you live. Nothing here removes a consumer’s right to rely on mandatory local law or access a court with jurisdiction under applicable rules.
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the website or legal requirements. Use Contact to raise a question about a provision.
